With the sawmill, we continue a long tradition at this location. For almost 100 years, round blocks of wood have been processed in Sankt Marein. Transferred knowledge, founded training of the staff and modern cutting technology combined with the raw material, which we obtain exclusively from the high altitude forest areas of the Mur and Mürz valley, allows us to create high-quality products treasured by our customers for more than 10 years. We use band saw technology in combination with flexible circular sawing machines for cutting. Using a band saw, it is possible to optimally "disintegrate" the strong log into sawn timber according to its characteristics. We mainly produce raw lamellas for window production, heart-free cut floorboards for log cabin producers, boards, laths, battens and heart-free squared timber for our wood market and planed goods for the planing mill.Any produced wood of poor quality is used by the packaging industry.
